AMBOSELI:
located in the savannah grassland ecosystem which spread
across the Kenya-Tanzania border. The park is famous
for being the best place in Africa to get close to the
large herds of free-ranging elephants among other wildlife
species. The park offers spectacular views of Mount
Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the
world.
Visitors can easily spot Leopard, Cheetah, Wild dogs,
Buffalo, Rhino, Elephant, Giraffe, Zebra, Lion, Plains
Game, Crocodile, Mongoose, Hyrax, Dik- Dik, Lesser Kudu,
and Nocturnal Porcupine and Prolific birdlife features
with over 600 species recorded
NGORONGORO: the world
largest unbroken, unfolded volcanic caldera 250 sq km
in size and 600m deep. The crater boasts of a blend
of landscapes, wildlife, people and archaeology that
is unsurpassed in Africa. The volcanoes, grasslands,
and mountain forests are home to an abundance of animals
and also to the Tanzanian Maasai. Ngorongoro Crater
is one of the world's greatest natural spectacles; its
magical setting and abundant wildlife never fails to
enthrall visitors.
LAKE MANYARA: Incredibly
diverse in both flora and fauna and famous for tree
climbing lions. The Park is known for its lush vegetation
and tropical forests of giant fig and mahogany trees,
elephants, giraffe, buffalo, zebra and variety of antelope
inhabit the park as well as a variety of monkeys and
a large population of hippos. The park is also home
to many species of bird and is one of the few places
you will be able to see the comical ground hornbill.
TARANGIRE: Distinctive
bulbous baobab trees are characteristic of this beautiful
park and game viewing is particularly rewarding along
the Tarangire River, which provides the permanent water
supply in the area during the dry season. The park has
nine distinctive vegetation zones ranging from grassland
to woodland, from deep gully vegetation to scattered
rocky hilltops are dramatic vistas of the Tarangire
River. Large herds of elephant, the predators and numerous
plains game inhabit the park as well as many species
of birds. Tarangire is also home to the white tree climbing
lions.
SERENGETI: The largest
National Park in Tanzania which in the north adjoins
Kenya’s Masai Mara game Reserve. One of Africa’s
best wildlife viewing areas. With an area of over 14,763
sq kms, the park is inhabited by more than 3 million
mammals, including lion, wildebeest , cheetah, leopard,
elephant, buffalo, gazelles, antelope, giraffe, hyena,
and all of the little animals e.g. rock hyrax, bat eared
foxes etc
MASAI MARA: Africa’s
greatest wildlife reserve. Masai Mara comprises 200
sq miles of open rolling plains, woodlands and riverine
forests and is the northern side of the expansive Serengeti
plains. The Reserve is home to a breathtaking array
of life. The vast grasslands are scattered with herds
of Wildebeests, Zebra, Giraffe, Gazelle and Topi.
NAIVASHA.
Lake Naivasha: a freshwater lake that varies greatly
according to rainfall. Home to variety of bird species
including the lesser and Greater Flamingoes, African
fish Eagle, Tawny Eagle, Green Wood Hoopoes, Cliff Chat,
Great White and Pink Backed Pelicans etc, thus making
Naivasha as a world class birding destination. Animals
that can easily be spotted in or around the waters of
Lake Naivasha include giraffes, buffalo and hippos with
Colobus monkeys calling from the treetops.
LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK:
Lake Nakuru - one of the gems in the necklace of the
Rift Valley Lakes often referred as the Pink Lake for
its great masses of pink flamingos. Opportunity to see
millions of flamingos besides a massive catalog of other
terrestrial birds. The world renowned ornithologist
Roger Tory Peterson defined it as "the greatest
bird spectacle on earth”. Lake Nakuru National
Park is a Rhino Sanctuary and harbors other wild-game
like the Lion, Waterbucks, Buffalo, Warthog, Hippo etc,
and is one of the few places where you can see Rothschild's
giraffes. The Park has more than 56 species of mammals
and the natural, scenic beauty of Lion Hill, Baboon
Cliffs as well as numerous waterfalls throughout. |

DAY01: NAIROBI - AMBOSELI
Drive from Nairobi south west across vast Savannah plains
towards the border of Tanzania. At Namanga border, branch
left to Amboseli. Arrive late afternoon to the land
of giants - world famous for its massive herds of elephant.

02: AMBOSELI
Morning game drive at Amboseli National Park is home
to some of the largest elephants in Kenya, The area
around Amboseli is home to many Maasai communities.
The park is known for the large herds of elephant and
paradise bird watchers. Other common wildlife includes
lion, cheetah, Masai giraffe, eland, Coke's hartebeest,
waterbuck, impala and gazelle. From Amboseli you can
see Africa’s largest Mountain Mount Kilimanjaro.
The snow-capped, dormant volcano that has exerted an
irresistible fascination since it was "discovered"
by Europeans in the mid-nineteenth century. Rising over
5km from the surrounding plains to a peak of 5891m,
Kilimanjaro – a national park and a World Heritage
Site since 1989 – is Africa's highest mountain,
the world's tallest free-standing massif and one of
the world's largest volcanoes. Overnight in

DAY
03: NGORONGORO
After breakfast, you'll catch your last views of the
majestic Mount Kilimanjaro as you depart Amboseli viewing
game en route to the border of the park. Turn west to
the colorful border town of Namanga. Cross border into
Tanzania and proceed to Ngorongoro with en route game
drive. Arrive in time for lunch and settle down for
the tour of the vast Ngorongoro National Park and not
forgetting the Ngorongoro Crater, a collapsed volcano,
with walls 2,000ft high and a 102sq mile floor, containing
a complete eco-system with rolling plains, forest, swamps
and river and a lake-complete with flamingoes. Overnight

DAY04:
LAKE. MANYARA
After breakfast leave for Lake Manyara National Park.
The Park is known for its lush vegetation and tropical
forests of giant fig and mahogany trees, elephants,

population of hippos. The park is also home to many
species of bird and is one of the few places you will

05: TARANGIRE
After breakfast transfer to Tarangire National Park.
Distinctive bulbous baobab trees are characteristic
of this beautiful park and game viewing is particularly
rewarding along the Tarangire River, which provides

06: SERENGETI
After breakfast, transfer to Serengeti National Park
via the famous "Olduvai Gorge" where Dr. Louis
and Mary Leakey made their discovery of the early man.
After visiting the small museum and attending a short
lecture describing the archeological digs and geology
of the gorge, continue with your safari to the vast
Serengeti Plain with game drive en-route which covers
an area of over 14,763 sq kms. The park is inhabited
by more than 3 million mammals, including lion, wildebeest
, cheetah, leopard, elephant, buffalo, gazelles, antelope,
giraffe, hyena, and all of the little animals e.g. rock

07: SERENGETI
Full day is spent at the vast Serengeti plains –
the starting point of one of the world’s wonders
wildebeest migration. Follow plains game and their attendant
predators on their daily pursuit and survival. Overnight

DAY
08: MASAI MARA
Early morning after breakfast, drive north of Tanzania,
cross the border at Isebania and enter Kenya. Upon arrival
in Mara which is considered to be one of the worlds
rich reserves and world- famous game reserve in wildlife
you set on a game drive through the savannah landscape
which is home to around 500 lions (an area of 1500 square
km works out at about 3 lions per square km) and 3000
elephants also the great wildebeest migration creates
spectacular sight as the surging column of life stretches
from horizon to horizon and with the wildebeest come
attendant herds of zebra and Thompson gazelle that cross
at the chocolate Mara river later you break for lunch
. In the afternoon you continue with the game drive
and look out for leopard, hyena, rhino, and different
bird species in the evening before proceeding back to
the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Overnight

DAY
09: MASAI MARA
Very early in the morning(before sunrise) go for a morning
game drive as this is always considered to be the best
time to do a game drive since the animals are at there
most active you now get the best chance to spot the
‘big five’: lion, buffalo, elephant, rhino
and the Leopard and of course if you are lucky enough
you may see the lion or the cheetah making a kill either
at the zebra or the Thompson gazelle in action, moment
by moment right in front of your unbelieving eyes! Later
return to the camp for breakfast after which you may
rest for a while then afterwards you may do other game
drives on different routes so as to try and spot as
much wildlife as possible since this is a place rich
in wild animals and birds later round the day up with
a sumptuous meal spend the night over. Overnight

DAY
10: NAIVASHA
After breakfast and drive through the Great Rift Valley
Escarpment to Naivasha. Climb to the top of Mount Longonot
- created as a result of the volcanic eruptions that
formed the Great Rift Valley. As you climb, you will
pass herds of grazing wildlife or watch buffalo and
other animals as they cross the crater floor. Activities
within Mount Longonot National Park include hiking,
rock climbing, biking and observing birds and wildlife.
Views of Lake Naivasha and the valley itself are not
to be missed. Hot springs and steam seep through vents
in the solid lava. Overnight in Naivasha.

11: NAKURU
After an early morning breakfast, drive further west
through the dramatic Rift valley. After checking in
to your lodge, drive down to Lake Nakuru - one of the
gems in the necklace of the Rift Valley Lakes often
referred as the Pink Lake for its great masses of pink
flamingos. Opportunity to see thousands of flamingos
besides a massive catalog of other terrestrial birds.
