SHABA NATIONAL RESERVE
Situated in a semi desert with rugged terrain, Shaba
national reserve is home to Joy Adamson's Monument –
pioneer of the famous Lion project. It is notable for
its hot springs. It plays homage to the Grevy’s
Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, and Gerenuk, only found
in this part of Kenya. There are also herds of Elephants,
plenty of Lions, Cheetah, Crocodile, hundreds of species
of birds and other game.
MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE:
Masai Mara game reserve is widely considered to be Africa’s
greatest wildlife reserve. Masai Mara comprises 200
sq miles of open rolling plains, woodlands and riverine
forests and is the northern side of the expansive Serengeti
plains. The Reserve is home to a breathtaking array
of life. The vast grasslands are scattered with herds
of Wildebeests, Zebra, Giraffe, Gazelle and Topi.
KIWAYU ISLAND:
Located on the Kenya mainland in the most remote Dodori
National Reserve some 30 miles north of Lamu Island,
in a breathtakingly beautiful bay opposite Kiwayu Island.
