DAY 01: BANGKOK
Upon arrival at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International
Airport, you will be met by Earth Tours &travel
representative. Meet and greet and transfer to your
hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight
in Bangkok.
DAY02:BANGKOK-
PHITSANULOKE Drive to Ayutthaya and on to Lopburi, where
you see magnificent stone carvings. Proceed to Phitsanuloke
and visit the revered Buddha statue. Overnight
in Phitsanuloke.
DAY
03: PHITSANULOKE- CHIANG RAI
Explore the ruins of the temples and monasteries in
the historic city of Srisatchanalai. Drive through jungle-clad
hills to Chiang Rai. Overnight in Chiang Rai.
DAY 04: CHIANG RAI
Depart for Doi Mae salong, a Chinese settlement founded
by Kuomintang soldiers. Visit the Akha and Yao hill-
tribe villages before driving on to Mae Sai. Then
drive to the renowned Golden Triangle where the Ruak
and Mekong Rivers meet. Overnight in Chiang
Rai.
DAY
05:CHIANG RAI- CHIANG MAI
A scenic drive takes you to Chiang Mai, where you visit
the famous temple of Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep. Enjoy
a ceremonial northern Thai Kantoke dinner. Overnight
in Chiang Mai.
DAY
06: CHIANG MAI
Visit an elephant camp followed by a visit to Sankampaeng,
home to Chiang Mai’s famous cottage industries.
Overnight in Chiang Mai.
DAY
07: CHIANG MAI- BANGKOK
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Bangkok. Overnight
in Bangkok.
DAY
08: FINAL DEPARTURE
You could opt to catch up on some last- minute shopping
before you transfer to Suvarnabhumi International Airport
for your return flight.
